Technology Integration

Hello everyone,

Integrating technology into the classroom is an important part of education today because we live in a technology dominated country. For example almost 70% of the information that students and teacher get comes from the internet. However, not all of the information students get from the internet is accurate. One of my goals is to teach my students how to find accurate information from reliable sources.

Integrating technology into the classroom does not mean that the computer will be doing the teaching. Technology, whether it is a television, radio, computer, or smart board, is there to aid students in their learning. I believe that integrating technology into the classroom makes for a more interactive and fun learning experience.
